It Is Market Season at the Community Center!
Friends of New Troy will host our Community Market on the second Saturday of every month, September-April. From 10 AM-2 PM, you can visit the market in the Multi-Purpose Room (Gym) at the Friends of New Troy Community Center.
Each month, we will showcase a local food vendor and welcome a wide variety of merchants, artisans, crafters, farmers, and makers. Be sure to check out our Facebook page for vendor showcases and to see what will be happening at each event.
In addition to the market, the community center's Activities Room and Historical Room will be open and welcoming visitors.

Trunk or Treat on Halloween!
It's the most spooktacular time of the year! Friends of New Troy will host our annual Trunk or Treat alongside Weesaw Township's Trick-or-Treat from 5-7 PM on Saturday, October 31st.
Anyone living outside the usual easily walkable trick-or-treat areas is welcome to come down to the community center and share tricks or treats while enjoying the costumes and community.
Don't forget to visit the Weesaw Township Fire Department afterward for their annual Halloween Party and hayrides, from 7- 9 PM.
This is one of our favorite nights in New Troy; we hope to see you there!
Story hour is back! At 10:30 on Tuesday mornings, children ages 3 and up are invited to join Miss Ollie and Miss Marlene for songs, a story, a snack, and a craft, plus more!
For those who've never experienced it, Ollie Jane is the Mr. Rogers of New Troy, scaling down real-world experiences and creating fun, teachable moments for young ones to participate in and enjoy. Miss Marlene is an extraordinary helper, crafter, and snack expert. Together, they offer a truly special experience where kids practice movement and manners, and explore their creativity and community skills.
All kids must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Youngsters under 3 are welcome to join in as long as they have a designated helper with them. Come join in the fun and help us to "build a community, one neighbor at a time."
The Friends of New Troy Community Center is located at 13372 California Road, New Troy, Michigan. We have no geographical restrictions. Everyone from everywhere is welcome to enjoy.
